Cultural tours with Amera.
Travel is one of life's greatest teachers. Come and experience Egypt and Lebanon beyond the guidebook — through music, dance, history, food and genuine local connection. No dance experience needed, just curiosity and a sense of adventure.

Travel that connects you — to people, culture, and yourself
For more than 40 years I have travelled throughout Egypt, Lebanon and the Middle East — not simply as a visitor, but through friendships, music, dance and genuine cultural connection. My tours are carefully curated for people who want to experience these countries beyond the guidebook. We share meals with locals, discover hidden places, listen to live music, explore ancient history and enjoy moments that most travellers never experience.
While dance may be part of the journey for those who wish to join in, my tours are designed for anyone with a love of culture, history, music and authentic travel. No dance experience is necessary — just curiosity and a sense of adventure. Groups are intentionally small, so there's time to slow down, ask questions, build friendships and truly immerse ourselves in each place.
Whether you're standing before the pyramids at sunrise, wandering a mountain village in Lebanon, sailing the Nile or sharing coffee with local artists — every journey is about connection. I'd love you to join me on one of my next adventures.

Egypt — a boutique journey through the heart of the Nile.
For over 25 years, Amera has taken Australians to Egypt — sharing not only the monuments and history, but the feeling, culture, music, people and hidden magic that most travellers never experience. This is Egypt from a boutique point of view: a small, private group and an itinerary curated for connection, comfort and meaningful travel.

Lebanon — music, mountains & Mediterranean soul.
Stay in the heart of Jounieh and explore the music, dance and culture of Lebanon with Amera. From the majesty of the Cedars to the blue of the Mediterranean, this is 10–12 days of magical immersion in Lebanese hospitality — history, live music, unforgettable food and warm local welcomes. Can't make September? Amera is also taking Expressions of Interest now open for Lebanon, April 2027.

Journeys to remember
The most meaningful trip of my life. To experience the culture from the inside, with someone who truly knows it, changed everything.
Amera opened doors no tourist ever sees. The people, the food, the music — pure magic from start to finish.
I came home with friends for life and memories I'll treasure forever. Already saving for the next one.
Tour questions
Do I need to be a dancer to come?
Not at all. While dance can be part of the journey for those who wish to join in, the tours are designed for anyone with a love of culture, history, music and authentic travel. No dance experience is necessary — just curiosity and a sense of adventure.
What does registering my interest commit me to?
Nothing. It adds you to the list so you're first to receive confirmed details, the full itinerary and the application form. For the April 2027 Lebanon tour, a $250 deposit holds one of the 15 places once you're ready.
Why is Egypt 'application only'?
Egypt is kept to a small, private group to keep the dynamic harmonious and the experience intimate. The short application simply helps ensure the right fit — first-time travellers to Egypt are very welcome.
Can I request a private or boutique itinerary?
Yes. Amera can design a tailor-made cultural journey for a group, studio or special occasion — just get in touch to start the conversation.
